In between the rain this week, we finally put in a garden below the studios. Those patches have been unaddressed since we finished remodeling the out-buildings into studio two years ago, so it feels good to have finally done it!

I am giving the ADAM Audio S3H a spin against their bigger sisters, the S5H, and good grief they hold their ground and then more.

You can tell when you're ready to explore MAXMSP when you want to adjust the Repeat rate on a device to play for 3 bars then the 4th either raises the rate randomly or does a specific little jiggle for a varied but less random gesture. Which option do you gravitate towards in the #studio?

Today I opened an Ableton set from 2014 I thought I’d lost. Joy in a pleasant surprise was soon gone as I saw what a state the set was in. Like seriously in such disarray I couldn’t figure out what was where and when. Yet this set was used live and on my first ep. So I’ve obviously learned some things since then which is nice.
