Planeta Iaribus (2015);

Again back to Oman with this little planet panorama for one of the simplest mosques I've ever seen in my life so far. It is actually a historical mosque - not sure about the date of building but it was some time between 1500-1700, I suppose during the reign of the Ya'aribah dynasty (اليعاربة) in Oman, and I suppose they were the main resistance movement against the Portuguese back then.
Such simple construction is actually a challenge from the perspective of panorama stitching. When it comes to panorama-making, you need details to help the computer later on to assign "control points" and compare features. The least you'd hope for is a cloudy sky to add some mood and element (though it won't make stitching a panorama any easier). Yet, all that was absent in this panorama, but it wasn't my first time anyway. This is why I always prefer shooting in some enclosed spaces rather than outdoors. This said, if I was to stitch this panorama again (in any projection style), probably I'd have made it darker and saturated more.
