(she/ her)S1E02 "Envoys" 🖖 Such a great teaser! 😆 🖖 That person walking with Freeman just nodding as an answer is a fun nod to all the poor background actors who never got to talk. 🖖 Awww Ruthy is such a good soul for wanting to change careers so he can spend time with Tendi. 🖖 What I so love about this show is how they keep pointing out the contradictions. Like here when Mariner talks about doing some grey ops "back in the day", and Boimler replies with "We're, like, the same age. Back in what day?" 🖖 The speed-walk. People complained about it being a Section 31 thing, but S31 is supposed to be secret, etc. Yeah, it is. But goodness, a) this is a joke in a tv show, and b) how many things do we (as a species here in 2025) speculate about and supposedly uncover? So, Boimler is simply believing in some supposed leaks. I mean, who‘s walking like that? That's ridiculous. 🖖 The Boimler sceam is hilarious! 🖖 I LOVE the Rutherford story. I love that everyone is just supporting him no questions asked. Also, bear pack! 💛 🖖 I'm not sure I like the story with Quimp the Ferengi. I don‘t like the hand thing at all. But I know that this is only the beginning of this show, and I know they are getting better. And the music that goes with it. 🖖 "We're all supposed to keep logs." This is basically journaling. Reflecting on your day, your experiences, putting thoughts into words, which helps to understand the world. This is prescribed mental health care! I love it. 🖖 Also, what a way to start a series. 🤣 You know right away that Boimler loves rules and Mariner does not. 🖖 And then we meet the bright eyed and totally excited Tendi. ❤️ 🖖 Oh! I forgot that Rutherford's implant was still new. 🖖 The warp core rules! 🖖 I like Mariner's very detailed holodeck programme. 😆 🖖 Love the music when Boimler enters the bridge. 🖖 Oh no, a boss who asks to spy on a co-worker… 🖖 I love all the VISORs everywhere. 🖖 Zombie apocalypse! And Ruthy and Barnes continue their date. Only in Starfleet. 😆 🖖 Wow, Mariner's been around. 🖖 OMG! What a wild ship! Things got pretty wild on other ships, especially Voyager, but this is next level. I love it! 🖖 OMG! Boimler hides his nipples with his hands and looks ashamed. I've never seen that before. Hilarious! 🤣 🖖 Shaxs wanting to detonate the warp core for the first time. I think I want to keep a count on that. 🖖 I love Mariner pointing out that Boimler saved the Cerritos. 🖖 A boss not knowing your name… I have to admit Captain Freeman does not come off as the best captain in this episode. But of course she isn't. That's the point of the whole show. None of them are "the best". They are normal people with flaws. But they are also all amazing.
