The thing about fresh powdery snow, that doesn't come through in photos, is the time dimension of the sparkles. You can zoom in on this photo and see a few sparkles that are catching the sun. But if you're there in person and you're walking, the sparkles are moving and shifting and dazzling and multiplying

Hi, I’m Tahnee and I enjoy painting! This is a piece I completed at the very end of 2023. Strangely, the first time I had covid, I had false memories, among them making this painting (when instead I had painted a different painting). So this one had to exist, too! This is one of the largest paintings I’ve made. All acrylic. Some may say it’s also an ode to how much I love bell peppers.
