verdammt, neuen Live TV Sender bei #Joyn entdeckt, der 24/7 #Smallville zeigt.
#RemyZero’s Cinjun Tate on Villa Elaine, beating cancer, becoming a dad, opening for OK Computer-era #Radiohead, #GardenState, and how #Smallville “Save Me” became a theme song for survival.
Vessel: Excellent Season 5 finale. It builds up to Zod's arrival perfectly, with the teases of Lex acting strangely and suddenly gaining Clark's powers. When Zod eventually takes over Lex's body, it's a real crowd-pleasing moment in the Smallville series. The episode also ends on a hell of a cliffhanger, with Clark impersonated in the Phantom Zone. #Smallville
Today's the day Lana Lang became the Insect Queen.
(Art by Howard Bender and George Papp.)
Oracle: Very strong episode, concerning Clark and Martha seemingly being visited by Jonathan from beyond the grave. It leads to some excellent character moments, although of course it doesn't actually turn out to be Jonathan. The cliffhanger is amazing also, teasing the introduction of Zod. #Smallville
Today's the day Superboy changed his name to Superman.
(Comic art by Al Plastino, Ross Andru, and Curt Swan.)
Today's the day Luthor first tried to kill Superboy/Superman.
(Art by Bob Oksner, George Perez, Dario Brizuela, and Curt Swan.)
Fade: A decent story, if nothing remarkable. Graham is a good one-off villain, a man who can turn invisible who tries to pull off various 'favours' for Clark after he saves his life. It's mostly an exploration of the love triangle between Clark, Lana, and Lex, with Clark finally learning that Lana and Lex are together. #Smallville
Mercy: Such a fantastic episode, concerning Lionel being placed through horrific trials by a man in a mask. It shows a new side to him, as someone who cares deeply about Martha, and the fact he doesn't even reveal Clark's secret to Lex really shows his loyalty to her. #Smallville
Today's the day Pete Ross learned Clark Kent is Superboy.
(Art by George Papp and Dick Dillin.)
Fragile: A sweet story about a young girl called Maddie who Clark and Martha look after. The paternal relationship between Clark and Maddie is lovely, and the episode ends on a heck of a twist with Lana and Lex's kiss. #Smallville
Habe #Smallville gar nicht so Kitschig in Erinnerung! Aber trotzdem gut
Void: This is a really dark episode, concerning Lana taking drugs that give you a near death experience where you meet your loved ones. There's some great character work here, with Lana, Lex, and Clark taking the drug and meeting their dead parents. #Smallville
Hypnotic: Very good episode. It concerns a hyptonised Clark who starts lusting over a woman called Simone. Glad that he finally broke up with Lana and hopefully it means the show has the Clark/Lois romance soon. #Smallville
Cyborg: An excellent origin for the titular DC hero. Victor's story is so tragic, and similar to Clark's, in that his parents are also dead, and he is scared to tell his partner his secret because he is worried she will view him differently.
Lionel knowing Clark is Kal-El and deleting his copy of the security footage to keep his secret is interesting. Is Lionel more trustworthy than he seems? #Smallville
