I'm a #filmmaker. My primary weapon of choice is the #fisherprice #pxl2000. For the uninitiated, it was made in 1987 by none other than Fisher Price and it is a VIDEO camera that records onto AUDIO Cassette Tape. You read that right. I have a website: pxl2k.com that I have made that details repair instructions, provides replacement and aftermarket parts, and serves as the archive for all things PXL.

This year I’m trying to watch one movie every day of the year, with the provision that the movie be no longer than 36-1/2 minutes long. I’ll be selecting movies randomly from this list that’s already way too long, but I still welcome suggestions for short films.

Synopsis (via Letterboxd):

Mickey, Minnie, Horace Horsecollar, and Clarabelle Cow go on a musical wagon ride until Peg-Leg Pete tries to run them off the road.

My Thoughts:

A tribute to the 1920s Mickey Mouse shorts features a return of the characters and animation style from that era.  When things go awry, Mickey and friends break the fourth wall appearing on our side of the screen in color and CGI-style animation.  It’s a clever and entertaining treat for fans of animation.
