ℵ₀ 🏳️⚧️🏴☠️<p>Context: two surgeries under <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/generalanesthesia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>generalanesthesia</span></a> with mixture of implicit and explicit recall. Induction with <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/propofol" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>propofol</span></a>, maintenance with <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/sevoflurane" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>sevoflurane</span></a>. I'm historically extremely resistant to GABAergic drugs, so my experience was unpleasant. Being <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/paralyzed" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>paralyzed</span></a> with insufficient <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/analgesia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>analgesia</span></a> is quite horrible.</p><p>Aside from that, I perceive the infliction of <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/amnesia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>amnesia</span></a> (or attempt) to be a form of psychological violence. Probably because of other trauma. In the end, I only remembered the bad parts. 😭🤕</p>
