Stephen Woods<p>Hello, fediverse! Checking in with my <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/introduction" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>introduction</span></a> </p><p>I’m a hobbyist <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/ttrpg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ttrpg</span></a> designer looking to ramping up my output of self-published games this year as Xylophonic Games. My games are <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/RulesLite" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RulesLite</span></a> , experimental, often <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/GMless" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GMless</span></a> and <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/SoloRpg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SoloRpg</span></a> . I’m particularly interested in using thought experiments to make interacting with npcs in solo games a more socially salient experience. I want to make players’ imaginary friends feel less imaginary.</p><p>Outside of games, I’m a <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/MentalHealth" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MentalHealth</span></a> counselor by trade with particular focus in and <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/SelfPsychology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SelfPsychology</span></a> and <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/ExistentialPsychotherapy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ExistentialPsychotherapy</span></a> . I’m always curious how games and therapy can be integrated. I’m also a husband and father, with a two year old who challenges me to play every day.</p><p>Excited to join you all!</p><p><a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/introductions" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>introductions</span></a></p>
