Major Sanjeev Varma:

Youthful in appearance, veteran in experience, Sanjeev is a man of good humour and bravery.

Son of two former Triskele Corporation soldiers, he seeks to rehabilitate the family name serving the Republic.

As a symbol of this, he carries his father's khanda into battle, and wields it with as much proficiency as any gun.

His family now as long dead as the pharaohs were to them, he struggles to adapt to a new existence without them.

Desperately using humour to keep the black dog of despair at bay, he is thrown a lifeline by the crew of the HDR Liberator.

Sitting back in a chair whilst wearing a support exoskeleton which is streamlined and nowhere near as bulky as early exoskeletons were. His features are craggy, but they don't stand out. He is physically lean, athletic and moderately muscular, but he does his best to cover it up. Again, the intent is to be as unremarkable as possible. He is wearing a dark armoured bodysuit, and his he holds a handgun with a slim profile towards the camera.

As a young man, he fought for the rebellion that established the Republic, overthrowing the corporation.

Hard to image this exists at the apex of a starscraper. Quon is getting older and, as he likes to view it, wiser.
