Funnily, my better half who isn’t a curry fan arrived at her rellies in #NSW & reports:
“Humidity is near 80% and if I just move I start sweating profusely. Oh well. You would have loved dinner. #CurriedChicken, #beef #rendang (curry) and #SingaporeNoodles. Served with Tumeric rice.”
Out of my curry frypan & into the fire. lol.

@Mandelaaron and what kind of cheeses do you make? I've always wanted to make fresh mozarella and tried it once but it...didn't work. A friend of mine is a cheesemaker and he tries to blend the #malaysian into it. He's got a #rendang cheese. Kind of a take on a #cheddar but with the spices of the dish (no meat) LOL

While I have read a book from every continent, I still have many #countries to find and #read. My #GlobalReading is interspersed with #Literature from the UK, I’ve recently finished #Rendang by Will Harris, a #PoetryBook published by Granta and my #BookGroup has been reading Still Life by Sarah Winman. I try to buy from #IndieBookshops.
@LyndalPN I made beef #rendang from scratch a few weeks ago, and I have enough paste in the freezer for another batch.
Because I was using cheap meat & a #pressurecooker, I had to spend quite a while reducing the sauce once the meat had tenderised.
