No #gamedev these days. The weather is nice and there's work to be done outside.

We finally got the redbud in the ground, after clearing some rubble away. The surroundings are still quite unappealing, since our old house is being restored/reconstructed, and there's construction stuff all around, but it will look really nice one day 😉

A photo of a young redbud tree (around a meter tall) planted in the ground at the corner of a house that's being reconstructed (there are some construction leftovers, like pieces of bricks, plastic pipes sticking out, etc. in the background). Remnants of dark pink flowers can be seen on the tree, with new leaves growing at the top. There's a wooden stake as tall as the tree next to it. It should keep the young tree from being swayed by the wind (which can be quite strong here) too much.

Eastern Redbud, this flowering tree is another plant that I was introduced to later in life. My wife read about them and then talked about them when we drove down to Asheville NC for our single work away from home Covid move. It turns out there are quite a few plants in our neighborhood, once we knew the name we saw them al over. Alrington, Virginia, USA 2025 #RedBud #Flower

Plus, they display a level of musicianship as an ensemble that allows them to try out different ideas that tease ambition, as they occasionally incorporate jazzy bits and Latin beats.
