Immer toll, wenn Hersteller das freie Linux für ihre Hardware nutzen, sich aber für Kunden mit Linux nicht die Bohne interessieren und nur Windows und MacOS supporten. #Remarkable
Bei den #Remarkable E-ink Tablets kann man die Sprache der Oberfläche jetzt auf Deutsch umstellen. Sonst gibts nur Englisch und keine weiteren Sprachen. Deutschland muss ein sehr wichtiger Markt für die sein, sieh mal an.

Oh man, was habe ich mich auf das reMarkable Paper Pro gefreut. Alles gut angekommen, Gerät ist echt toll.... aaaaaaaber datenschutztechnisch, so einfach nicht nutzbar. 
Cloudzwang, encrypted using Google-managed keys und customer content mal so „access is required by law“. Ja ne is klar. Nicht.

I don't use my #Remarkable that often, but did the upgrades last week, to find out that Disk Encryption is natively supported now (March 3.18 release), but only for the RM2.
Cloud sync is still not E2E (and I don't expect it to change), but nice to have Full Disk Encryption locally.
It is a shame, there is no linux app by #remarkable. It is just qt....

Also my #remarkable pen was acting weird and I got a new one for free because I checked some boxes. Now it's fine. But I did switch on pen/paper for a while there.. a week..
The horse head is a #castbronze figurine I did years years ago when I went to a bronse casting #course of one week. That was a good one.. should do it again..
Suffice it to say... yes, I am enjoying the #ReMarkable2 (#ReMarkable) tablet. Especially creating my own custom templates!
