Here are some ceramic ornaments I made for Spring, using a vintage cookie cutter my grandmother used to make Easter cookies with. Maybe immortalizing this cute but also classy rabbit shape? 🐰

You can find them (and some more ceramic pieces) in my etsy shop radicula.etsy.com

I hope you can enjoy Spring (if you are in the Northern hemisphere!) and take enough time to smell flowers, to listen to the birds, to watch the bees get busy and slow down a little bit. I know it supercharges my creative batteries!

This flowering shrub is Prunus cerasifera I believe! It's glorious!

There’s lots of opinions on what else to feed your rabbit. Once they stop growing, the pellets should be Timothy hay, and the package will list amounts. We give Bramble a dinner sized plate of greens with each meal and the others get salad plate sized helpings. We also put some dried flowers in with their pellets. Our four agree on Calendula, so we’re working on a bag of that.

Let me know if you have any more questions 🌷

I hope Lola can come home today! 100% what Nuno wrote about the poop patrol. I’ve had bunnies struggle with stasis when then they were sick or stressed or as a side effect of a medication.

It’s fine to let rabbits nibble on cardboard or paper toys. But our Poppy would rather eat that stuff than proper bunny food. So, we had to strictly police what she ate. (That was exhausting.)

It may not help, but it never hurts to give a rabbit (human) infant gas relief drops. Sometimes that’s enough to get them back on track.

Right now, we are blessed with four healthy rabbits (2 are fosters) who love their hay. We order our hay in 50 pound boxes and it lasts about three months. So, a lot of hay! The rule of thumb is that a rabbit should get a pile of hay as big as herself every day. We have a hay rack near the litter boxes.
