Casey Means basically copped to being a : dropping out of a surgical residency program to pursue ("functional medicine"), and conning ("influencer") the gullible. This is how she earned her malafides in the trumposphere.

"Steven J. Hatfill, a virologist and White House adviser during President Donald Trump’s first term who pushed hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for the coronavirus despite what most researchers said was a lack of scientific evidence, has joined the second Trump administration in a senior role at the Department of Health and Human Services.

(. . .)

Hatfill criticized coverage in The Washington Post and other publications of a study by Veterans Affairs researchers of 368 patients — all male with a median age over 65 — hospitalized with coronavirus infections. The study found no evidence that hydroxychloroquine reduced patients’ chances of being placed on a mechanical ventilator and that the drug was associated with 'increased overall mortality.'

A research trial by Brazilian scientists was halted early for safety reasons after patients taking a relatively high dose of chloroquine developed irregular heart rates that increased their risk of a potentially fatal heart arrhythmia. Repeating what many advocates of the drug have argued, Hatfill said it was given in late stages of the virus. Patients were dying from other diseases but 'they blamed the drug,' he said."

The Washington Post · Scientist who was part of covid treatment controversy returns to HHSBy Lena H. Sun

"We've flooded our environment with microplastics and contaminated it with PFAS. Our food supply is largely modified by GMO's from lines created using low quality methods, and bipartisan compromises ensure surveillance of a vasculopathic immune depleting brain damaging virus will never ever see the light of day. But despite all of this, I will manufacture and deliver the evidence tying autism to childhood vaccinations, now that science is basically whatever people feel like."

"Donald Trump’s private golf resort in South Florida will next week host one of the world’s leading purveyors of chlorine dioxide, a potentially life-threatening form of industrial bleach that is claimed without evidence to be a cure for cancer, Covid and autism.

Andreas Kalcker is among 50 listed speakers at the 'Truth Seekers Conference', a two-day event opening on Thursday at the US president’s resort, Trump National Doral Miami. The event features several anti-vaxxers and other conspiracy theorists who have been brought together by the far-right commentator Charlie Ward."

"Lara Anton, spokesperson for state health dept, said her office refused the shipment from HHS 'because healthcare providers have not requested it from us.' Kennedy also said that he believes budesonide, clarithromycin, or cod-liver oil can treat measles, but the health department apparently doesn’t want those either."

"RFK Jr. told Fox earlier this month that he was delivering vitamin A to measles-stricken communities in West Texas immediately. But a Texas health official told The Atlantic that no doses of vitamin A ever arrived at the state health department—not because RFK Jr. broke his promise, but because Texas doctors didn’t want them."

While Chump is anything but loving the idea of engineers and the use of scientific ruling the state, his overlord Melon Husk's grandfather was in charge of the Canadian chapter of technocracy. The map has some parallels, although I'm sure the idea of bringing a lot of brown people as a state into the US empire isn't going to fly well there.

"Kennedy is a quack, and a dangerous one. These ideas are only the tip of the iceberg. Regardless of what he says for public consumption, he is an anti-vaxxer. So are his 'experts.' They ignore the reality that any vaccine can only be effective with mass administration. Voluntary vaccination won’t cut it. He knows that.

This perversion of science will cost many thousands of lives, perhaps more."
