Gently easing myself back into #training after a long stretch away — first the war (I'm from #Ukraine, Kharkiv), then depression that took a year and a half to work through. After three years of all that, it’s no wonder my body’s worn out and run down. But now, I feel ready to begin again. Hoping to stay #strong and keep my #motivation alive.

Yesterday was competition day! Finally I was super nervous but also very excited. This was my first time competing at the Dutch championships so I didn't know what to expect. But the pole community is full of amazing people who really support each other. I had a good time backstage and with the people who came to support me . I'm really blessed with such amazing people around me.

My routine went super well and I am very happy with my performance. So funny how I'm so nervous before but I forget everything when I perform and I just enjoy every moment. The routine was very clean, and the score really surprised me! It even got me first place in my category!

Now I'm really tired from a long day and so much training. Right now I'll take some rest before I get back into training again. Photos and videos will follow soon!
