And this is because, for years, the opposition to #neoliberalism and #digital #capitalism has been rejected as too extreme by the left card mest notably by the mainstream democrats. And these people are now stuck between active or passive submssion to this new system.

So I’ll end by repeating this— I do not believe DOGE was ever created to cut waste or modernize government agencies. I believe it was designed to prepare for something far more dangerous. The personal data they’re collecting isn’t about “efficiency”—it’s about targeting. What they are building are detailed, AI-enhanced dossiers on every one of us. And once complete, those profiles can be weaponized at a time of their choosing.

  • Plus #RIM relying hard on business clients and their proprietary applianced mail systems and having big carriers upsell to business people made them look outdated & quite literally out of touch once #iPhone went mainstream.

I mean, the hardware was never their problem and #SMS-Typists swear by their #BlackberryCurve's #keyboard but BlackBerry's #toolchain - just like #SymbianOS's - was just hideous to the point that devs like @fuchsiii didn't even want to try making #Apps for those devices.

  • Unlike #Mozilla fucking up #FirefoxOS by refusing to sell devices to #developers, by the time RIM & #Nokia came from their high horses, their market shares had been squeezed into mere "rounding errors" by #iOS and #Android as it was way cheaper and easier to get #Apps developed, tested, sold, bought and use them than on their devices.

#Sony even released some #Symbian #S60 devices but since they didn't have the same signing keys, one couldn't even #sideload apps (not to mention they didn't had the #OviStore on those either!)...

What happens next in the fascist/autocrat playbook is that the internal political enemies of Trump within the US are labeled as "terrorists" and enemies of the state. After which brutal repression can start. If you believe in conspiracies Trump could even throw in some violence organised by himself to blame on his opponents.
Congress is dead. I am only curious how he will deal with the judicial branch, not everybody seems to be cooperating (luckily).
