Hello @johnnydecimal :ablobwavereverse: I thought I was on your email list, but I missed this. Just purchased and will give it a go as I've decided to fully move over to @obsidian @obsidianmd from @logseq 🥹 [My vault had gotten too big to reliably sync via icloud]. Very pleased with #ObsidianSync it's a keeper #pkm #pkms #markdown #obsidian #obsidianmd #logseq Will try it in #bearapp bear.app/ too. Ironically I resisted obsidian because I struggled with the concept of managing folders. 🫠 Tagging lots so that more people can learn about this great tool. The Bear, Obsidian and universal markdown compatibility options are chef's kiss. 😎

Bear Markdown NotesBearBear is a beautiful, powerfully simple Markdown note taking app to capture, write, and organize your life.

Slowly migrating my notes from Notion to Anytype. I moved to somewhere with an unstable internet connection and I realized the importance of having offline notes. I tried Obsidian but didn't really like its database feature. Anytype feels closer to Notion + more OOP-ey system. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a local-first PKMS! :neocat_glasses:

People who take notes AND write blogs:

Do you keep your blog posts separated from your note taking system? If not, how do you publish your notes as blog posts? If yes, why?

I’m looking to consolidate all my writings to one huge git repo, but want to publish some notes as posts

@ChristinWhite I have never used Instagram, so I don't know. In the #Fediverse we can follow hashtags and in #PKMS software, used by knowledge workers, we use hashtags as references in our notes. So they serve multiple functions here in the #Fediverse . In case you didn't know, hashtags make it easier for people interested in the same topic to find each other's posts, and if you know any knowledge workers, you know that we love information. So there's that. I hope that helps if you are confused.

I wanted to share with the #PKMS #PKM crew about this local first markdown editor I stumbled on called #acreom and it is #offlinefirst with sync and calendar capabilities. acreom.com/blog/the-offline-fi

I feel like @ellane may have written about it?

@creativerly has also featured it on their blog: creativerly.com/the-art-of-ask

I am very intrigued & I am starting to understand how important a daily note is because that is the first place I go in #ObsidianMD #LogSeq #Joplin #Reflect #Tana

@ricraftis @dd101 @eleanorkonik I'm right here with y'all! I also love using #HintsAI Assistant from hints.so/ to add quick notes on the go to #Obsidian #Notion and #ClickUp . #FleetingNotes has similar functionality for #ObsidianMD
I love this space and being able to discuss #PKMS

#Acreom #OmniFocus

#OmniOutliner #DEVONThink all have my attention.

OMG, #Obsidian. I've set up a project dashboard combining tags, the Obsidian Query Language plugin, and the Canvas feature. I've plotted all of the leadership team's organizational projects on an Eisenhower matrix, and also onto a map of the double-loop learning process. This is the kind of stuff I love about Tinderbox on the Mac, but now I can take it with me on my phone. #PKM #PKMS
