Question for #Pixelfed client devs (or even Mastodon/ActivityPub in general?): Do you ever notice image uploads being rotated? I've got portrait oriented photos that I'm uploading through my app which will come out rotated when viewed on the web/via API.

Mes impressions sur #Pixelfed.

C'est pas mal ! mais, si naturellement on peut suivre un compte Pixelfed depuis un compte Masto, c'est surtout bien pour suivre des comptes et consulter des profils Pixelfed depuis un compte Pixelfed. C'est comme ça qu'on profite au mieux des qualités de l'interface web du logiciel : grille des vignettes des photos, notion de collection, etc.

Sans compte Pixelfed, on peut consulter un profil et voir les photos par le web, mais sans pouvoir interagir.

C'est un chouette Insta du Fédivers, en resumé, sans les plaies des algorithmes et sans collecte des données perso. Ça tombe bien : j'ai supprimé mon compte Insta ! 😋

☝️ Les ami·e·s, je vous informe que je me suis inscrit sur Pixelfed à l'adresse @FoucPerotin@pixelfed.fr. C'est surtout pour un projet à venir : refaire de la photo argentique avec mon Rolleiflex, et publier mes photos là – c'est pas pour de suite, mais bientôt, j'espère. J'y ai posté quelques vieilles photos, et ça sera encore ça seulement pour un petit moment...
