½ oz pistachio cream liqueur
½ oz chocolate cream liqueur
1½ oz cognac

Garnish: chocolate powder
Method: Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake. Double strain into a small glass and dust with chocolate powder as garnish.

A rich and creamy dessert cocktail, this one is hard not to gulp down! For garnish I did nutmeg instead of chocolate powder for that extra somethin. Spec is on Difford's Guide, created by Gabriele Carnaghi.

Homemade desserts for a family event: pistachio Paris-Brest. These are choux pastry ring donuts filled with pistachio whipped buttercream, candied pistachios and pistachio praline paste.

The name Paris-Brest comes from the cycling race between those two French cities. A Parisian pastry chef was tasked with creating a pastry for that event in 1910 and came up with the original recipe which has hazelnuts and almonds in place of the pistachios, shaping the dessert like a bicycle wheel.
