@odoruhako @velozipedist @fedibikes_de Hm #Rohloff empfiehlt einen Ölwechsel einmal pro Jahr oder alle 5000km. #Pinion gibt sogar 10000km an. Bei den meisten läuft das also auf einen Ölwechsel einmal im Jahr raus und den kann aber muss man nicht selber machen. Das ist IMO die Messlatte für wartungsarm. Alle 1000km kommt mir schon arg häufig vor.

@ascentale @sam I have to throw my #prioritybicycles 600 into the mix if you are not into serious off-road touring. It’s a mostly commuter that can handle gravel roads easily and almost any incline. I use it with panniers and a single wheel trailer if I’m touring. The #pinion C.12 is twelve non-overlapping gears so you can go anywhere, you just don’t go fast. #bikenite

Mal eine #Frage in die #Runde, in den letzten Tagen habe ich mir immer wieder überlegt, mir doch mal ein #Pedelec zuzulegen.
Das Modell (< 18 kg), das mir in die Augen gestochen ist, hat einen #Heckmotor (Mahle), ein #Pinion C1.9-Getriebe mit #Zahnriemen und einen Akku mit 250 Wh.
Hat hier jemand #Erfahrungen mit dieser Kombination oder eine mehr oder weniger fundierte #Meinung dazu?

Im Leben von Radmechaniker*Innen geht es auch um Fortbildung. Der Markt bringt immer wieder neue, zum Teil sehr komplexe Bauteile auf den Markt, die viel Erklärungen seitens der Hersteller benötigen. Heute sitze ich in eine Schulung von #Pinion und #FIT zum Thema #MGU (MotorGearboxUnit). Im Schulungshotel sind wir nicht alleine.
So, nun ist auch noch mein zweites Fahrrad kaputt. Das Pinion Getriebe meinte einen spontanen Ölwechsel zu machen. Leider nur das alte Öl raus. Mal sehen, was die Garantie dazu sagt.
Jetzt hat man schon zwei Räder und ist trotzdem nicht mehr mobil. Ich brauche ein drittes...

J’aime : ce n’est pas spécifique aux vélos couchés, mais je suis tombé amoureux du changement de vitesse avec les boîtes #Pinion, qui permettent par exemple de s’arrêter sur la douzième, de passer la première à l’arrêt, puis de repartir ainsi.
En plus, c’est super-silencieux, solide, et ça demande peu d’entretien.
Perso, j’ai une C1.12.

Ohne Motor wär's noch ein wenig schicker 
Pinion · JAAPS CUSTOM-MADE CARGO BIKE - PinionSchon als kleiner Junge baute Jaap Lastenräder. Als Jugendlicher schweißte er an klassische Hollandräder Anhängerkupplungen. Den vollausziehbaren und leichten Anhänger dafür baute er selbstverständich auch selbst. Seine Faszination für Lastenräder nahm nie so richtig ab, versickerte aber etwas als Jaap den Führerschein bekam und irgendwann auch den ersten Dienstwagen.
Im Februar hab ich beschlossen in ein neues #Fahrrad zu investieren.
Ich wollte es möglichst stabil und fand die Vorstellung schön, mir bei einem Rad mit #Riemenantrieb viel Wartung und Pflege zu ersparen. Also hab ich mich für ein Tout Terrain mit #Pinion-Getriebe entschieden.
Am Donnerstag ist es endlich gekommen:)
Mittlerweile habe ich ihm schon einen gewissen persönlichen Touch gegeben und bin es ausgiebig Probe gefahren! ...und bin so happy:D

@ordinoides I am cylćling before I even went to school, ever sinde daily...
I am what we call here #teamchain and I wax those.
So if you are looking for a low maintainance bike, I would recommend a #rohloff or even better a #pinion gear drive with a belt. Shimanos #Nexus or #Alfine would work fine, too but nothing beats the quality of made in Germany.
(cars and economic responsibility, waste of resources, pollution in the name of economic growth are a less pleasant, I know)
Mein #Pinion / #Rohloff Trigger. So sieht er von innen aus. Die Zahnräder sind Laser gesintert aus 1.2709, mit einer Streckgrenze von 1550 N/mm². Das Gehäuse aus Aluminium gefräst. Der Trigger läuft seit 1,5 Jahren problemlos am Rad. Er soll bald als #OpenHardware Projekt veröffentlicht werden.
Fazit nach einem Jahr mit dem Pinion Bullit von @united_cargobike.de. Beste Kaufentscheidung, viele tolle Fahrten und Transporte und 5000 km auf dem Tacho.
