Good morning you lovely lot Today at #Parrot Central it has been one of those mornings where Ziggy decides she doesn't really want to go in for breakfast yet, which results in a game of her saying "Come! Come!" so I will take her back to her cage, her then pretending to go in, but coming out again at the last minute, and flying back to the couch making her "Tee hee hee!" sounds and obviously having a great deal of fun, including wrestling her giant plastic sword to the ground. Rinse and repeat until she gets tired of the game, or in my case I go off to make #coffee and she finally gives up and goes in to get her breakfast. Work again today (meeting madness!) and I also need to order some supplies at some point as one of my repeat customers contacted me yesterday evening with a couple of custom #crochet requests that require some extra bits.

Good morning you lovely lot The #parrots are cleaned and fed and I have #coffee. To start your morning here is a photo of Jadie rocking the punk look after having a bath in her water bowl the other day As you can see she is quite capable of using her ropes to access her bowls if she wants to - she just chooses not to when it comes to her food. We spray the parrots with a warm misting spray every two days. Ziggy generally has a bath in her water bowl every time. Jadie only does it every now and then, but when she does she really goes to town! #petsofmastadon #birdsofmastadon #BirdsOfFediverse #goodmorning

I ended up playing #Skyrim yesterday morning and only worked on the custom #crochet #toy in the afternoon, but a new order came in last night so I am going to have to really make today a #crochetday I think. Or maybe half and half again ..I'll see

Confession time #today. While my carefully curated posts might give the impression that I'm a caring person, I often experiment on my pets.

For example, I wanted to see how Nicodemus (pictured here) would react if I offered him a TINY bit of wasabi paste.

Just a dot of it, on a fingertip.

Nicodemus, a usually gentle and civilised young person, grabbed my finger with both hands and devoured the wasabi so greedily that I could feel his teeth on my skin Unheard of! He's the most well behaved of rattoes, usually.

He had a wild look in his eye, afterward. I still can't quite believe it, and haven't repeated the experiment.

You never know. I don't want to trigger an origin story.
