When we got home from the gym this morning, Paco was so excited. He ran into the house and ran to the bed Muppet used to lay in and pressed his feet to it like he did when Muppest was here, to wake him up. “They’re home!!!”

I keep looking over to where Muppet's bed was in my office.

Neither Paco or Winston ever really wanted to be in here. Winston was a momma's boy. After he passed, Paco picked up the mantle.

Muppet was my work buddy. I took his bed out this morning because looking at it hurt.

I’d safely say that Merlin is largely responsible for the uptick in my overall happiness over the last 2 months.

The lil dude cuddles with me at least once a day, and is so affectionate and sweet and talkative… I love him so much.

After loosing my 18 year old cat in the summer, I don’t know how I would live without a deep bond with an animal… but here we are. I’m okay. Merlin is taking care of me… thanks for sending him my way, Mac.

I wanted to thank everyone for their kind words about Murphy’s passing. I also wanted to put in a plug for at-home pet euthanasia. What a different and wonderful experience.
