Lisa Quilty HillI don't know exactly what brought about our school districts change in wages, if it was the teachers union or if the school district figured out that their hiring shortage isn't going to get any better without a more competitive wage. But when the new school year starts my hourly rate has been bumped by two and a half dollars. Usually it's a measly 30 cents. But I had to cover for a middle school class the last hour and a half-ish.
