Si vous aviez pas suivi : #OrganicMaps a de gros problèmes de transparence sur ses finances, intègre des liens sponsorisés et est Open Source mais pas non-profit et des gens sont partis pour créer @CoMaps qui règle ces problèmes en étant presque la même application.

Ça fait une semaine que je contribue à #openstreetmap. Ce projet est génial. Je suis piqué par le virus de la cartographie !

So far #MagicEarth seems least worst of the #navi apps to work with #AndroidAuto - although devs appear very cagey about exactly which version(s) of #OpenStreetMap they are using, and where they are getting their shop / business data from which makes correcting it a bit harder - I've still not heard anything about the spelling mistake I reported (other than an auto acknowledgement) and as its closed source they only have email as a contact method.

It seems to be OSM based but with proprietary datasets tacked on and "crumbs from the table" of their commercial projects (providing navi solutions to transport networks in Germany)

Even so its a better app than many paid ones, especially after #TomTom has become increasingly enshittified, and #CoMaps still lacks features..

Indoor mapping in #OpenStreetMap at Copenhagen Central Station feels like being thrown back to major train stations in Germany 10 years ago.

Renwick, Iowa seems like it could use some mapping!

Malaga's bus route 37 has a confusing history. The last section of the route serves a large old people's home in an isolated location high above the city, but has operated inconsistently, and was suspended for several years.

Recently the service was restored, with some changes to the original stops. Rather than relying completely on the bus operator's website, I surveyed it the old school way: ride the bus to the last stop, and walk back checking the stops.
