DoomsdaysCW<p>Two <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/MeteorShowers" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MeteorShowers</span></a> will peak simultaneously tonight: How and when to watch </p><p>by Jeremy Tanner - 07/29/25 3:24 PM ET</p><p>(NEXSTAR) – "July is once again exiting in style, treating stargazers to a meteor shower double-feature this week.</p><p>"The <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/SouthernDeltaAquariid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SouthernDeltaAquariid</span></a> and the <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/AlphaCapricornid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AlphaCapricornid</span></a> meteor showers will peak at the same time, in the early morning hours Wednesday.</p><p>"While perhaps not as stunning as the Perseids, which light up the sky in mid-August, often leaving long, sometimes-colorful 'wakes,' conditions will be good this week. Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) is now visible in the Southern Hemisphere! You can see the comet in the morning, low in the eastern sky, just before sunrise. To get the best view, use binoculars with higher magnification, such as 10x50 or 12x50, which are preferable for comets low on the horizon.
