I am sure there's a way, but I use the browser version. Following a hashtag is central to mastodon.

But look at the folks using the hashtag, and look at who they follow. Please, follow the ones that look most followish, followtastic, followable, French.

And help folks, that's really Mastodon.

I switched lenses on my Canon R50 yesterday while out and about, and a speck of something landed on the exposed sensor (it was blowing a gale).
I spent far too long trying to clean the lens before realising the dirt was *in* the camera.
I panicked and wiped the sensor with an alcohol wipe. I think it's OK but yikes.
If any photographic experts would like to advise whether I did it wrong I'd be grateful.

Um, question... when do I stop finding new borked topology to correct? I mean it looks good right now, but I've thought that about 10 or 15 times in the last hour, immediately before finding another set of overlapping vertices or fourth-dimensional hyperfaces.

Don't get me wrong, it's been an absolute mindfcuk in the most entertaining possible way, but me having fun is dangerous, because I will do nothing else until I tire of this.

@cstross The good thing about the Fediverse is I can have gray hair and still feel like a newcomer in the Unix world 😅

I first encountered Slackware in maybe 1997 (on a magazine CD). Been less than 30 years. A true #noob . My first experiment involved failing at getting X to work but being very happy that gcc could easily let me allocate all of the computer’s memory making learning C less frustrating than on DOS.

PLANT UPDATE:

Suspct - Climbing(?) Aloe(?) - formerly known as Edrich Monstrosity has been chopped up, and its lil- buddies have been planted while choppies are drying up and waiting their turn ans that I find more pots.

For now, everyone is alive and well (except our orchid but we don't talk about her because she is fickle and this apartment is killing her), will update if they root and start growing. (:

If a game has a card game I dont like, detest, or just can't understand, my partner plays it for me to make my life easier.

That said, Qwent in Witcher 3 was amazing and I played the shit out of that. Never has a card game been that amazing, and the phone version failed to catch that magic.

No cars game needs insanely convoluted animations. Keep it simple and engaging.

If I were to delve into #Linux, what would be the most approachable version? I have an old laptop that I could experiment on. <I have no idea what I am doing> #Noob

Update: thank you for all the suggestions, I really appreciate it. I'm hoping to try this on an old Dell 3530, and while it has both an integrated and dedicated graphic card, it only has 8gb of ram. Processor is i5-8400H.
