@Buffer Thanks! I am using a Spark #boost as a preamp - the Valve Jr has one knob, and I like #treble and early breakup. With cheap #humbuckers and the big cab at home volume, I want more.

did github start adding random timeouts on multiple consecutive https connections recently? my vim plugin updater gets a random timeout around thirthieth or fourtieth connection, and it's bloody annoying.

And some words certainly transcend their original technical moorings, like "Podcast" or "flywheel".

I can't tell if Blueprint is far enough removed from its original "technology" that there are diminishing returns with its continued usage, or if the word has slipped its physical bonds and become something more abstract (and thus more broadly applicable).

I think I may have achieved the apogee of nerdiness. Today while setting up holiday lighting 300 feet from my home, I used a walkie talkie beside a Google Home speaker to remotely turn on lights & avoid walking 600 feet.
