Across the past few years, I've made shots like this; of single leaves roaming around. As I always say, I have some soft spot for leaves roaming alone. When I see one, I don't try to move it apart or touch it in any way - I just shoot it as it is in place.
For this shot, for example, there was a number of leaves around and I made some shots without paying attention to them and they were there in the frame. I didn't touch anything (I don't feel easy changing the scene just to take a picture of it, as I consider it an alteration of reality, or of a point in time, if you will). Thus, I re-framed and got closer until I had this leaf isolated from the rest. The rest is a story of processing of course (and it was done in HDR).
With this shot, my stroll that day, March 11th, was over. I'm checking my stock, and seems I've done some "test" long exposures but they were all failures, unfortunately, so probably I will go back to post from the archive as usual (unless a miracle happens and I might make some shots out of no where, overcoming my block!).

Using the #Disting Mk4 algorithm F6, the shift register random quantized voltage function and frequency divider for the percussions. #korg #volca #mix compressor used to create part of the rests and syncopation. Food related? Calvados.
