Prehistoric Portugal<p>This <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/TombTuesday" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TombTuesday</span></a> I'm grateful that yesterday when Portugal had a massive nation-wide powercut, I was out in the countryside admiring this gorgeous dolmen in the sunshine, surrounded by wildflowers. No electricity needed!<br><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Portugal" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Portugal</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/megalith" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>megalith</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/megalithictomb" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>megalithictomb</span></a></p>
Prehistoric Portugal<p>What do you call a megalithic tomb that isn't that anymore?<br>The Anta dos Pombais is a dolmen that was repurposed into a farm shelter, so it's now a prehistoric/modern hybrid. It is an excellent place to site and reflect on the passing of time and the modification of old places.<br><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/megalith" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>megalith</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/megalithictomb" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>megalithictomb</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/dolmen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>dolmen</span></a> <br><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/prehistoric" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>prehistoric</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Portugal" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Portugal</span></a></p><p><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VUsrh1sz9w" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="">youtube.com/watch?v=5VUsrh1sz9w</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p>
