Just finished watching the movie Marmalade. Wow. Just when you think you have it all worked out, twist! More than once. Strong language, but that ain't nuttin once you realise what magic they're doing with language in this thing. It's a carefully woven tale that leads you down the garden path and clubs you senseless and you like it.

The best oranges for #marmalade, perhaps the only ones, are Seville oranges, as I'm sure you know. The Sevilles are very seasonal, and Tesco had none the last few times I looked, but I found a source.

parrishfarms.co.uk import them each year, and a 4Kg box is very reasonably priced. Also, oranges for marmalade can be frozen.

"Reflections of My Life" was a 1969/1970 #hitSingle for the Scottish band, #Marmalade. It was written by their lead guitarist #JuniorCampbell and singer #DeanFord (credited to his birth name, Thomas McAleese). Released in late 1969, it was the band's first release on #Decca following an earlier spell at #CBS. The song went on to #chart worldwide, reaching number three in the UK in 1969, No. 10 in the US in 1970 on the Billboard Hot 100.
