My brother recently introduced me to "The War Of The Rohirrm" when I visited him recently and holy shit! I really enjoyed it! I was not expecting anything from an animated spin off movie from the Lord of the Rings universe but I was so delightfully surprised. I'm still thinking about that movie a few weeks later. I loved the anime style with a hint of ghibli that worked unexpectedly well with the much darker themes. I also think it did a great job of being it's own story without needing to lean on the lotr success. It would have been a good movie even if it wasn't related to lotr but they just use its relation to deepen the world building.
