well, I was going to assemble my floor #loom as much as you can without a warp on, but I discovered some more wood damage on one of the gables. it's in a spot where I should be able to carefully carve the chip out and sand it smooth and it shouldn't cause any issues weaving. 
not a today project, though.
I was kind of annoyed that the packers taped directly on the wood of my loom instead of wrapping it in furniture pads like professional packers have done in the past, but it looks like it all came off ok without damage. I put the stool together but not the rest of the #loom yet. maybe tomorrow. I did find a couple of pieces with damage, one I can fix myself and the other I'm unsure if I need to replace just yet but it's a $175 ratchet wheel. https://store.vavstuga.com/product/glim-part-ratchetwheel.html
#loom is so fucking awesome at recording demos. Trimming long pause and filling words were a lot of pain to do in a video editor before but loom just handles that so effortlessly. Goat.
Omg, just discovered that @dosgameclub will play #Loom in April and cover it in a later #podcast episode. That's like one of my favorite games of all time and the very first game that I played as a child.

Finished this wrap a while ago but haven't been in a posting mood 'til now. This is 36 ends per inch in wool. The final length was a bit shy of two yards. I gave it to a friend who's helped me though some really difficult times recently, and it felt so good to give her a physical manifestation of my time, care, and attention.

Checked on a bug report I filed with ScummVM a while back about errors in the font drop shadows in the TurboGrafx-16 version of LOOM.
Turns out it's been 12 months and it's still open, and in all that time nobody else has even commented on it. :P
That last detail is a relic of some early builds where all room exits were marked with pictures on the GUI. This was probably cut to avoid players trying to cast drafts on them, but evidently one exit indicator was left in by mistake in version 1.0.
Other differences in LOOM EGA version 1.0 include slightly different text under the Lucasfilm Games logo, and a stray image in the GUI to denote the exit from the mountain spiral staircase leading back into the dragon's cave which was deleted in later builds.
TIL that version 1.0 of LOOM EGA features more stars in the area Outside the Pattern than later builds have.
@danielalbu Be sure to watch the bit starting at 53:50, where he (without any fanfare whatsoever) shows off footage of the finale from a WIP build, with some different sound effects and some dialogue from the final version not added in yet!
