I just noticed - #Lexar is no longer Lexar.

It used to be the highest-quality flash memory manufacturer. The name was later purchased by a cheap Chinese manufacturer.

So if you see an opportunity to get a Lexar Card or SSD for a good price, you should be aware that it's not really a Lexar.

Not sure it's related to the SD card itself but in about 2 months since it was installed I had a #lexar 64GB micro SDXC EAN 843367119684 not recognized anymore in a Xiaomi Redmi 9C NFC, the phone asking to format the card, once plugged in a laptop, I could see the content, the pictures were there, but once back in the phone, same message about the card needing to be formatted. I backed up the pics, formatted the card with the phone, put the pics back, but it's annoying. I usually buy #Sandisk

When I have "nvme smart-log" running, I can see it hanging (and/or failing with I/O error), so it seems to be drive specific.

As it still happened roughly once every week even with 6.12.x, I had to check further, and it seems others bumped into it too - askubuntu.com/questions/152101

It's too early to tell if nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=0 is indeed working, but looks promising. Upgrading firmware is a tad difficult as I don't have other OS running, but I have high hopes the workaround is effective.

4/4 (fingers crossed)
