He told the firm he had passed the bar in 2019 (he had not) and had been working at a Canadian law firm since then (also not true). He got the job and held himself out as a lawyer. The lawyer incorporated a new entity under the same name (“Company A”), hired herself, and then falsely claimed to represent the original Company A in a case against the lawyers who had represented the real Company A in the original small claims case.
