Oh Leute, ich bin wieder in einem Hasenloch...
Today I combined my favorite programming language #Cpp with my new hobby: #lasercutting. I made some coasters with the logo. I am quite satisfied with the result. I will have to clean the edges from soot before testing them.
Which one do you like best? The one with the dark background or the holes?
And after more gluing and clamping, my new pentakis dodecahedron based lampshade is ready ! :)
Every time I think "Nah, I don't need more clamps, I have plenty* enough", I end up being proven wrong**.
Every single time
Please, send clamps :)
*: last count was 52.
**: 120 would have been nice for this (small) project
So version 1.3 of my filament spool for #3dprinting with some useful updates is now officially released:
https://git.chaotikum.org/derderwish/filament_spool
It's in use for a few weeks in the #Nbsp of the @chaotikumev now and I think it works fine.
#lasercutting a spool is much faster than printing and it is very storage efficient when disassembled.
Thanks to #openscad it is adjustable, too.
Fun morning today delivering some @inkscape training and #lasercutting these multilayer designs in felt!
