"Joe Rogan defended Kanye West’s latest song, titled “Heil Hitler,” on his podcast Tuesday and echoed the song’s antisemitic stereotypes.

West, who now goes by “Ye,” released the track last week, in which he sings the chorus, ““All my n—s Nazis, n—a, heil Hitler.” It’s the latest in Ye’s long stream of blatantly antisemitic comments and actions. Since its release, it has attracted both harsh criticism as well as some support from conspiracy-minded figures.

The chorus of praise also includes Rogan, one of the country’s most popular podcasters, who spoke up for the track’s music as well as its message. On Tuesday’s episode of the 'Joe Rogan Experience, he talked with comedian Tom Segura about the song, beginning his commentary by saying, 'first of all, [it’s] kind of catchy.'"

We’ve read more about Joe Rogan in the last couple of weeks than we really wanted to — first, with the Menswear Guy’s story for Bloomberg on his influential physique, and now, with @Daojoan’s article on the dangers of the Roganified male mystique, and what to do about it. “That pipeline doesn’t stop because we roll our eyes at it. It stops when we block it with something real. The Roganification of masculinity is a symptom. The disease is deeper. But the cure won’t come from debunking or mocking. I think I was made aware of #JRE in a different era, when it was pretty apolitical except for some #libertarian stuff about #weed and the war on drugs. Actually one of the reasons I recommended the folks above is that they would be a good balance between being political and being apolitical. Ain't nothing political about #JameisWinston lol

There are still many apolitical guests. I don't listen to the show very much but tune into the episodes with celebrities and/or people I know. I'm listening to the #AndrewSchultz episode right now and the next episode I have queued up is #AnthonyBrown.
