sophieJust moved instances so time for a new intro post! I'm duckie (she/her, still kind of a baby trans for a few years now lol), and in the wake of Cohost announcing it's shutting down I figured I'd get back into the fediverse for my social media fix. I currently work as a C# + SQL developer for a small company while job hunting, although I really enjoy writing Rust, Scheme, Haskell, and C++ in my spare time. I love music (used to play saxophone, but due to TMJ issues I mainly play classical guitar now), running, bread baking, my cat, and tinkering with my Arch installation. I am one of the people who immigrated from Mastodon.lol after the recent shutdown announcement due to the drama going on. And so far the Calckey software feels a lot better to use than Mastodon, with much better GUI and a more robust feature set. I honestly should talk more about my stuff other than just my music, but i feel like I'm just a very uninteresting person to be around in general when I'm not making jungle, oh well. I will try to say more things. I hope that this new journey on blahaj.zone goes really well, and it's going great so far :3
