honestly, any writing group could be nice, I have no writers in my circle, but I also don't have any autistic friends in my circle either. it's alienating. it'd be nice to check two boxes at once

I'm thinking mostly in terms of original fiction writing, because that's what I'm trying to do most, but anything is good

as much as I hate discord, it's still the only thing most people use that isn't worse. I'm not willing to go near facebook, or telegram, definitely not reddit either, lemmy sucks, and matrix is still too much of a pain to use. I'm trying to enrich my life, not complicate it more than I have to. independent forums are cool though, I'll happily join one of those if one exists with this type of community and people are actually on it
