Went into town, about 13.5 miles each way. Also it was 20F / -7C. Thankfully I still had my <a href="https://floss.social/tags/icebiking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>icebiking</span></a> gear from years ago, and the LiIon battery seemed to do OK (I had kept it indoors overnight). This was incredible! I found it was very nice to set a suitable assist level and hover at max speed 20MPH. If I felt like adding muscle, it just backed off and I could maintain (or exceed) speed. And I could just bedal less hard and it'd maintain!</p>
John Goerzen<p><span class="h-card"><a href="https://retro.social/@kelbot" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>kelbot</span></a></span> AND, it feels great to be getting more exercise while also going gasoline-free!</p><p>I was planning to ride it into town Wednesday morning (13 miles each way) but it's going to be 25 and I'm not quite ready to get back into <a href="https://floss.social/tags/icebiking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>icebiking</span></a> yet! Though I certainly did back in the day before I worked from home.</p>
