Trump on Fri threatened a 50% #tax on all imports from the #EuropeanUnion & a 25% tariff on Apple products unless #iPhones are made in US.

The threats, delivered on social media, reflect his ability to disrupt the #GlobalEconomy with an outburst of typing, & the reality that his tariffs have yet to produce the deals he is seeking or the return of domestic manufacturing.

If Trump wants to see built in the U.S. then Trump needs to make massive changes to our workforce and educational system.

First, he needs to dramatically increase the number of subminimum wage workers who have no alternative means of making a living.

Second, he needs about 30,000 industrial engineers.

You'll say that's impossible and I'll say we used to have a system that could have gotten us part way there.
