I see Feet in the Clouds is twenty years old! It’s a worthwhile read, for me it was an eye opener into the politics of #running in the UK. (The #fellrunning / #hillrunning culture has always appealed far more to me than the US-style heavily commercialised trail & ultra scene.)
Morning run. Still looks like Winter, though Spring can clearly be felt. The birds certainly were celebrating the new day.

A week ago it seemed Summer has come and Spring skipped. But this week definitely does not feel like Summer.
So a morning run through slush and mud.
Vor einer Woche schien es, der Sommer ist da und der Frühling gleich übersprungen. Doch diese Woche war nicht wirklich sommerlich.
Deshalb Morgenlauf durch Pflotsch und Schlamm.
Last night, I ran up to Tappie Tower twice. First visit was four years ago. Then it took me 30 minutes to run from the car park to the top. Yesterday, my time on the same route was 19 minutes and that was my second lap up the hill. Good to see some progress. Picked up a small niggle that I hope will go away by tomorrow. Still feeling uncertain about the race in two weeks. Listened to The Sword's Gods of the Earth, which was basically perfect. #hillrunning #aberdeenshire

Long run, with snow showers, sunny spells, and much wind. We call it 'April weather', though I know it is March. Ended up with 809m elevetion gain.
Langer Lauf, mit Graupelschauer, sonnigen Abschnitten und viel Wind. 'April Wetter' eben, auch wenn es März ist. Am Ende 809m Höhenunterschied gemacht.
Windy and rather cold, but really nice for running. 12k and 350m elevation gain/loss.
Windig und eher frisch, aber passte für einen Lauf. 12k und 350m Auf- bzw. Abstieg.

Longish run today. Had all the weather, rain and strong wind for a start, then it cleared up quite nicely. 23k with 550m ascent/descent.
Etwas längerer Lauf heute. Wettermässig unberechenbar, zuerst Regen und starker Wind, dann hellte es auf. 23km und 550m Auf- und Abstieg.
