Denna dåliga bild tog jag på gårdagens konsert med Godspeed You! Black Emperor i Stockholm.
De spelar i Göteborg i kväll och Oslo i morgon för den som känner sig sugen.
Blev stående så att jag kunde titta på han som styrade med projektionen. Hade trott att de visade med en vanlig datorkopplad projektor. Men icke! I stället stod han med fyra gammaldagsa filmprojektorer som han bytte mellan och tidvis projekterade ovanpå varandra.

ttery) And then she cuts up the destroyed film and gives it to the fans, like a setlist but everyone can get in on it. What a unique souvenir, what a show. That band is a giant ensemble, and yet the projectionist is the MVP.
So I just saw Godspeed You! Black Emperor tonight in Kansas; I've heard a couple of their albums but went in spoiler free about the live show. Nobody told me the projectionist straight up murders the film for a solid half hour to end the set while the instruments loudly drone away. Never seen anything like that before.
