Yes to the goal, to be #GoogleFree, but I have high doubts about your means. Instead of hosting the Internet under your bed, we, geeks, should promote more solutions for normal people, like #CustomerNotProduct and purchasing Internet services for money. Things like hosting your email at #FastMail, #Proton, etc. That is much more realistic than this #CyberAnarchism.

Und wenn ja, könnt ihr schon eine empfehlen, bei der ich auch sehr restriktive und sichere Eltern -Kontrolle behalten kann?

Ach Leute ich kann mich nicht entscheiden. Fairphone5 oder Furiphone FX1 oder soll ich spekulieren, dass bald ein FP6 kommt? Solange will ich mich aber eher nicht mit meinem jetzigen gerät rum ärgern. Auserdem will ich Wenn schon Android dann weitgehend Googlefrei. I have had my Volla Phone for exactly one year now. I bought it with Ubuntu Touch, then switched to Volla OS, a Google-free Android, and now back to Ubuntu Touch. I am very happy with it.

I agree with the rest of the post (own your domain!), but I don’t think this is sound advice. Majority of people have no time administering their server (especially email server), so this is discarded as a lunacy, and people stay with their GMail. Promote paid-for services, where users are customers, not a product to be sold (e.g., I just switched to #Fastmail and I cannot be more happy; of course, there are others).

@sesivany yes, 130 €/year is not that horrible, and I want to support them, because I believe that such independent commercial providers are the only true hope for independent email (normals will never admin their own server).

Just switching from ownCloud (yes, that old) to Fastmail.
🇾 Today I used my free no ad Tuta email account to sign into my non-AI enhanced Vivaldi Browser. I reset the default search to searxng. I am also planning on buying an cellphone loaded with the grapheneOS off of ebay.
