An update on all the college stuff:

I haven't updated in a while, I was just going through the motions of everything. I have good news, I got accepted for financial aid!

I've also finally landed a job! So I'll be working as much as I can before I need to leave for school. I got really lucky and am working at a place where I'll be able to transfer locations, so I'll still have a job when I go to school.

Between my merit scholarship, financial aid, work study, my job, and the kindness of everyone who donated, I'll be able to cover a good amount of school costs. For my first year I'm going to owe around $22000 out of pocket still. I'll most likely end up having to take out a loan. I'm hoping that after my first year I'll be able to secure extra positions at school to help with costs, and hopefully get more scholarship opportunites.

I'm still going to leave the GoFundMe up, because every little bit really does help a lot, and I'm in a position right now where I need all the help I can get.

School is expensive, so I wasn't expecting to get in for free, but $20000 out of pocket is more than I expected. I'm super excited to be able to go to school and further my education!! And also super excited to finally get out of an abusive household.

Thank you, everyone, for all for your help! I appreciate it more than I could ever express. My dreams are actively coming true, my life is changing, I'm finally reaching the next chapter, and I can't wait! It's still going to be a rough road ahead, but it'll all be worth it. #gohuskies !!!
