#inZOI is VERY pretty but very barebone in terms of life sims capabilities 😭 It's only early-access so definitely got potentials. But the gameplay feels like even less than the original Sim when it was released.

The game engine's capabilities far surpass the original Sims. With a city with many instantly editable community lots, item customizations with multi-component materials, textures. I think the sandbox and creative portion is A+. But in terms of sims gameplay, that's where it's lacking.

Paused Avowed while in camp and I’m loving the sound design, would absolutely listen to an endless loop of it. The sound of crickets is such a soothing thing, didn’t have them in northern Sweden but they still give me childhood nostalgia vibes (and maybe spending half my twenties in the US gives me the right to be nostalgic about them).

Putting it out there that I’d love to hear if people play Split Fiction and what your thoughts are. Everyone (who is payed to review games) seems to love it, but also, every clip I’ve seen makes me feel like the story is 100% that Marvel goofiness I just can’t get into. I’m curious to know if it would be fun to pick up to play with my husband, but I’d need some convincing to buy it since my own impression is “cringey unhinged” so far.
