If the price of a Chinese good goes from $160 to $192 thanks to the #TrumpSalesTax...
...the American Made version has ZERO incentive to keep their price low. Instead, now, they can RAISE their price to the same or just slightly lower (increasing their profits with NO incentive to pass that profit on to their employees.)

#DarthTraitor (and his #FlyingMonkeys) believe the ONLY reason he's being prosecuted "is b/c #Democrats are afraid I (he's) going to win" and we're just trying to stop him.

When I call #DarthTraitor "#TheOrangeMenace", it's more than a nickname.
He believes EVERY ludicrous government #ConspiracyTheory that advances his influence or allows him to excuse his failures, and his #cult spreads the stupidity like a disease around the globe.
There have always been "antivaxers", but he & his #FlyingMonkeys helped spread the insanity around the globe to the point where it's costing lives.

It might get a little bit confusing because there are two assholes in the thread who've managed to get themselves suspended from Twitter, and amazingly, I'M NOT ONE OF THEM! (pic 1.)

Twitter being what it is, you can still tell who I was replying to, and IN NOT A SINGLE ONE of the 10 tweets that contain both of our usernames, was that person: Grumpickle. (pics 2&3.)
Anyhoo, Grumpickle developed a grudge and nursed it carefully until he was put together with Staph (pic 4.), an EXTRAORDINARILY not-racist person utterly incapable of distinguishing between Black women, who I actually HAD engaged with -- when she decided she needed to explain some things to the terrible pickaninnies criticizing her She-ro.
[NOTE TO MODERATOR: I am one of said pickaninnies.]
Then, in the magical way dust bunnies collect, they were matched with another monomaniacal personality, TheFluFighters, and this formed the basis of Caryma's ideal team of flying monkeys, or as they were known in this iteration: Flu's Clues.
But this thread is about Grumpickle in particular, and it will continue as I have time.
This is Grumpickle (pic. 1).
He hates me, which is weird because we've never actually spoken to each other.
I say "Grumpickle" because he's on his third Twitter account. (He keeps getting them suspended for bad behaviour, but that doesn't stop him.)
When this saga started, his account name was OldManGrumpee, and now it's ThePickledPleb. Grump...ickle.
Anyway, once upon a time Grumpickle had this idea that there could be an awesome collaboration between Cary Mango and Dee Snider. It was unlikely, but it was a dream. (pic 2.)

@Quinnae_Moon QTs encourage performative posts rather than conversations. That may be fine to show up the powerful, but it has drawbacks when used to punch down.
Those with large followings can decline to discuss in the replies, instead repeatedly summoning their followers to dunk on a dissenter.
It's nuanced though, because QT is also used against "reply guys" and sealioning.
So you’re thinking about not spending time with your #ToxicFamily this #Christmas, #Hanukkah, #Festivus, #Atheist, but still enjoy a Christmas tree, etc., this year. Good on you!
Before settling in for a long winter’s nap in your kerchief or cap, I suggest the following:
1. Gird your loins – whatever this means to you. Meditation, medication, primal screams, working out, making time to do nothing, extra dog walks, watching the Colin Firth version of Pride and Prejudice or Throw Momma from the Train on endless repeat. Again, whatever works for you.
2. Let the least toxic family member know you’re sitting this year out.
3. Mute phone contacts who are #enablers and/or #FlyingMonkeys for the apex #narcissist, #borderline or #histrionic in anticipation of rolling #GuiltTrips, #shame, #balme and other #manipulation.
4. If you struggle with guilt and #obligation, #RealityTest x 100. Remember, choosing to opt out of abuse, drama and holiday histrionics isn’t wrong. Seriously, you're not doing anything wrong! You’re exercising healthy #boundaries and practicing #SelfCare.
As an adult, you get to choose what’s best for you. It is your responsibility to yourself.
Besides, opting out of holiday visits gives #NPD/ #BPD/ #HPD parent, sibling, etc., fresh #ProfessionalVictim™ material. And let’s face, they’re going to victim it up whether you visit or not.
And, since they love nothing more than a nice new juicy tale of victimhood, your absence is the best gift you can give them!
In other words, "You’re welcome, mom and/or dad!"
