Painting of a male figure with very little clothes
A commission I finished recently for the Size Library and Museum curated by Mr. Taedis. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have made this for the museum!
Figure drawing / painting over at Franke Bette center in Alameda.
Sven runs the 3 hour Monday nights and it was so lightly attended, I’m worrried about its future in the long run.

Late night long pose with coworkers, and Elise from BAMG.
Had some canvases to recycle, so blocked out shapes and then alternately painted and drew with charcoal.
These are 20 mins apart, at least one missing from the first session while I was setting up.
One thing I did after the first round of drawing was pull some white and yellow where the highlights were hottest. You can still see some random yellow call outs.

Rough because the longest pose is 2 minutes.
The ones that came out best had some color vibrancy from being paint overs (recycling canvases).
Ro had a hat and was wearing a small swimsuit top and workout shorts.

I recently finished this gouache painting during a 12‑hour drawing session. I know there’s still plenty of room for improvement, but after wrestling with color for so long, I can’t help but feel happy with how it turned out.

I’ve been feeling quite sick the last few days (caught the flu somewhere I recon). So I did get only one figure drawing session in last week. Went alright though, hopefully this week I’ll be back to me old self, I have deadlines to catch up to :(.
