This one is my painting; "The confidant/Le confident", acrylic on gallery canvas, 24"X18", 2021. It's a tribute to all those lonely kids who don't have any friends, who are bullied in school and who's parents are too busy to notice. Loneliness can be very painful and since my public is often school classes, I like to bring awareness to it. This painting is still available

This is my painting; "Maiko", acrylic on gallery canvas 20"X16", 2020. This painting is one of many that was meant to create awareness over abuse & exploitation of children. A maiko is a Kyoto geisha in training. Although now-a-days we view geishas as touristic hosts & entertainers rather than tea room prostitutes, there's still a high demand for young virgins. So even though this practice is now highly illegal in Japan, it's still indeed taking place underground. Young orphans are groomed so that their "purity" can be sold to the highest bidder on the dark web, generally at the age of 12. This painting is still available

This is my painting; "The little monk/Un honneur imposé: Le petit moine", acrylic on gallery canvas, 36"X24", 2021. Becoming a monk is rarely a choice for a child. The monasteries generally take in orphans but some boys often come from a very poor background and parents send them there to get an education they couldn't afford otherwise, in hopes of getting the child a better future so that they can later provide for the family.
