Posting video via youtube on mastodon while trying to promote #pressfreedom seems to me at best confused about how we got where we are.
Do the work to post it in #federated form, please, so I can see it, too, without a compromise to my own privacy.

People would rather ignore problems than do anything about them. (And I’m talking about tech geeks in particular, who should damn well know fucking better.)
Complain about #OpenStreetMap rather than regularly attend mapping parties and help improve the data.
Complain about bugs and missing features in #FreeSoftware rather than fix them.
Complain about #XMPP and other #federated platforms rather than onboard people and help improve clients.
Complain about the government, but never do the bare minimum (vote) or get involved at a deeper level.

If you have more than 1 #federated account profile -AND- you also have a blog/news/article site you regularly post to, would you want to have clickable social links to your main account, or to more than 1?
If you use more than one federated service category (Mastodon, PixelFed, Loops, Lemmy, etc.), I assume you'd want links for other categories, but not necessarily how many you'd need.

Lot of time has been taken & a lot of coding has been done to achieve this level of Ease, for the end user while it is still quite Secure on the backend
Can you use it in All situations Secure Communication is required? Of course not.
Will it have bugs? naturally it exists of much more than just three lines of code, so don't be silly
Is it a nice Achievement? IMHO it Is a very Good Achievement.
Now go read study and learn and if necessary even add some code, fork it if you want to.

Also, people are now quitting #Telegram because of their AI bullshit. Like any #centralized platform, it was bound to abuse its users sooner or later. #Federated protocols like #XMPP are the only sensible option.

In the Everlasting search for clients and servers Federated, detached from corporate underlords, connected to the masses I learned about the following client server duo
Client: Delta Chat
Servers: Chat Mail servers
One thing that jumps immediately into attention, is the fact that when you download the client, select a server, you get a QR code
When you've configured your client, you will immediately notice that you do not need to enter a password for your client. The system is passwordless by default.
You do not need to enter a multi-factor authentication code it doesn't need it.
What you need to do is be careful with, is who you share your link with. Go and play with it, see if it something for you
