In honor of the #FeastOfTheAss let us celebrate these old pictures c. 1930 I found in a cache of old family history. My father’s family was very poor, living and working as sharecroppers in middle Georgia. What amazes me is that in light of the scarcity of resources, and the very few photographs that were taken at all, that they would take pictures of the donkey. The little boy behind the plow is my father’s oldest brother. Labeled: “Mule at Harper Tucker Place.” #Asstodon
